A visit to Old Hall Farm offers the whole family the opportunity to experience life on a farm around the 19th Century. Daily activities start with animal feeding, milking jersey cows (have a go by milking by hand), traditional butter making.

During the day (times vary) our heavy shire horses will be out in harness working. You will have the opportunity to take the reins and experience driving these magnificent gentle giants.

We are home to the largest collection of steam vehicles in the North. You will be able to roam among these sheds and engines. If the engines are not in steam, you will be able to take time to sit and watch videos of these engines working out in the fields and get a real feel for how they used to work.

We have traditional farm buildings full of vintage tractors and machinery which you will come across during your tour around the farm.
